Nafar Chair — Product visualization by Emme Works

For Manufacturers

Your next launch deserves images
as considered as the product itself

Emme Works is a visual communication studio in Bologna. We work with Italian manufacturers on product launches, catalogs, and brand campaigns, delivering a complete visual package that holds together from the trade show floor to the website to the social feed

We take on one new full-scale project per month

You might have faced one of these issues

01

Fragmented visuals across launch channels

The catalog looks one way, the website another, the Instagram feed a third. Three photographers, three timelines, three visual languages. Your brand falls apart across channels before the product even ships.

02

Generic renders that look like every other manufacturer

The studio delivered what you asked for: clean, bright, photorealistic. But it could be anyone’s product. The composition is standard. The lighting is default. The images execute a brief, not a brand.

03

No visual direction before production starts

You skip the look-and-feel conversation and go straight to shot lists. The result: 40 images that don’t belong to the same family. No signature. No system. No brand voice in the visuals.

“We are specialized in visual communication, and it happened that we are engineers.”

Brand visual direction

Before we produce, we define the look. Color palette, lighting language, composition rules, material rendering standards. So every image belongs to the brand, not to the studio that made it.

On Confidentiality

Most of the work we’re proudest of,
you won’t see here

Most of the product and brand work we have delivered over the past three years is under NDA, and stays under NDA. The brands we work with require it, and we honour it without exception. No public portfolio includes what was not cleared. No pitch reveals what we promised to protect. That is the deal, and it is why those brands keep coming back. When you work with Emme Works, your work is protected the same way.

How We Do It

The Composition Method

Every launch starts with reading. Every image ends with intent.

01

Read the brand

Thirty minutes. Your product, your market, your launch timeline. We read what the brand is trying to say, not just the product specs.

02

Compose the visual language

Before we render, we define the look. Lighting, materials, composition rules, color temperature. We propose a visual direction you approve once, then we apply it to every image in the set.

03

Refine in dialogue

Drafts are conversations. New SKU added mid-production? The marketing director changed the campaign angle? We adjust without restarting. The process is designed for it.

04

Deliver with intent

Art director reviews every image. The set arrives as one family: catalog shots, hero images, social formats, all in one brand voice. Print-ready, web-ready, campaign-ready.

Four engineers, ten people, one method

We started in 2022. Four engineers from the same school in Bologna. Over the past three years, we have delivered more than 1000 product images for Italian brands and manufacturers. The method is always the same: read first, compose second. We work with manufacturers who need a complete visual partner, not a render vendor.

Questions

What clients usually ask

What does a product campaign cost?+

A single product hero image starts around €1,100. A full catalog set (20–40 images) runs €25K–€75K. A complete brand campaign with visual direction, catalog imagery, and social formats lands between €50K and €180K. Fixed-price after the walkthrough.

What is the timeline for a full catalog set?+

A 40-image catalog set takes 6–10 weeks from final briefing to print-ready delivery. The first batch of hero images lands around week 3 for early campaign approvals. We can compress the timeline for trade show deadlines.

Can we test you with a single product before committing to a campaign?+

Yes. We call this a pilot render. One product, one composition, one revision round, fixed price. If it lands, we scope the full campaign. If it doesn’t, you keep the image and we part well.

Do you sign NDAs, and do we need to sign one for the first call?+

Yes, we sign NDAs on every product engagement without exception. For the first 30-minute call, no NDA is required. We talk about your brand, timeline, and visual direction, not your unreleased roadmap.

How do you match our existing brand guidelines?+

We treat your brand guide as non-negotiable input. Color, typography, photography style, composition rules. We define a render-specific visual language that sits inside your guidelines, so the renders belong to your brand, not ours.

We already have a studio we work with. Why switch?+

You don’t need to. Most of our manufacturer clients start by giving us one product or one campaign, the pieces their current studio can’t handle or won’t make room for. The relationship grows from proof, not pitch.

What if our product CAD files aren’t render-ready?+

We remodel from your drawings, photographs, or physical samples when CAD isn’t clean. Model preparation is included in the quote. You send us what you have. We tell you what’s missing and fill the gaps.

How much of our time does the project need weekly?+

One 30-minute review call per week during active production. Between calls, feedback happens asynchronously via email or shared links. Marketing leads typically spend 1–2 hours per week per project.

What happens after we schedule the case study walkthrough?+

You send us a short brief: your brand, your launch, your rough timeline. We walk you through 3–5 case studies closest to your situation, discuss fit, and follow up with a scope if there’s a match.

Next Step

Every launch starts with a conversation

Thirty minutes. Show us your brief. We walk you through the case studies most relevant to your brand: your sector, your timeline, your audience.

  • Your product line and launch timeline
  • Who the buyer is and what the campaign needs to say
  • Which visual direction fits the brand
  • What’s in the package and what it costs
  • Honest assessment. Are we the right visual partner?

No obligation. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you.
